Technician

As the economy is quickly changing around us, are you looking for a new career or a way
to supplement your income part-time? You can become a skilled Audiovisual Technican
and be prepared to enter the workforce by taking this comprehensive 8-session, 32-hour,
course offered by professionals with 20 years of experience in the field. By the end of the
class, you will have learned the skills necessary to provide audiovisual services for events,
meetings, conferences, classrooms, and any other situation where audiovisual services
are required. The instructors will provide all necessary equipment to offer a hands-on
class as they teach you step-by-step procedures from learning input/output connections to
equipment operation to safety and basic troubleshooting, to setting up audiovisual
equipment in any situation--and assuring that it works. There are plenty of job
opportunities for A/V Technicians and your instructors will give you leads to find them. At
the end of the class you will receive a Certificate of Completion and the opportunity to go
on to become a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
